Inside the Machine

When I look left, my left arm goes numb. So they sent me in for more scans. I learned first-hand that MRIs induce electrical currents in titanium, which can be quite interesting when it's pointing at your spinal cord. Some minor findings, but nothing major warranting more surgery. Which is good. As long as I don't need to look left.

Here's a movie (30MB) we made from the CT data with which to entertain you. Please enjoy it with much glee so when I die of thyroid or brain cancer I'll know deep down it was all worthwhile. Click on the image to view or download. (It's just a 360 rotation, alas. Sorry, no singing skulls.)
