Incline Village

Incline Village is a small (population approx. 5000) town on the northeast shore of Lake Tahoe, right where Highway 28 (Tahoe Boulevard) and Mount Rose Highway (State Route 431) interesect, four miles east of the California/Nevada border.

The house is just off Mount Rose Highway (SR 431), with Forest Service land in the back and within walking distance of Incline Village grocery, ski rental shops, and restaurants.

Despite its small population, Incline Village is well endowed with facilities. There are two golf courses, a movie theater, two markets, a post office, a ski resort, several health clubs and gyms (including one excellent facility owned by the town's General Improvement Distract, subsidized by taxes of residents), three beaches open only to residents and their guests, the only private four year accredited college in the state of Nevada (Sierra Nevada College), numerous award winning restaurants, a small hospital, a skateboard park, and much more. An ice skating rink is on the way.

The physical address of the guest house is 722 Tyner Way, Incline Village NV 89451. Please note that this is not a mailing address!

Click here for text driving directions from your starting location. Note that Yahoo! maps seems to prefer to send people from the Bay Area up Highway 50 through South Lake Tahoe to Incline. My experience says that Highway 80 to Truckee to Highway 267 to Incline is generally better. Highway 50 is one lane for most of the way and be quite slow.
